Project Overview

Bronson performed a comprehensive analysis and reconciliation of the funding provided by IESO to Alectra, an LDC channel partner that selected the “Pay for Performance” (P4P) financing model. This reconciliation process involved a thorough examination of contracts, accompanying correspondence, cash flows, net-to-gross energy savings, incentive payments, reported expenses, and a review of the reasonableness and eligibility of the reported figures. Additionally, the final payment reconciliation required intricate IRR calculations on net quarterly cash flows to determine the ultimate balance due in accordance with the P4P funding model’s terms. The final report included recommendations aimed at improving future program design based on the identified challenges.
