Quick Summary
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Bronson’s training sessions were delivered virtually using Microsoft Teams.
Each of these training sessions had an audience of 8-12 participants, and were designed to be interactive and encourage hands-on learning by participants.
Project Overview
Bronson was engaged by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)’s Audit & Evaluation Branch to provide data analytics advisory services.
The Challenge
The Audit & Evaluation Branch recognized the need to enhance their data analytics processes and capabilities. The growing volume of data is surpassing the capacity of their current processes, and consequently there is untapped business intelligence which is not being fully leveraged.
In particular, the client has pinpointed the possibility of incorporating Tableau and Alteryx into their operations, seeking services that encompass in-house training as well as the development of proof-of-concept workflows and dashboards to showcase the potential applications of these tools.
Our Solution and Impact
Bronson conducted an informational session showcasing the functionalities and applications of both Tableau and Alteryx. This was succeeded by a series of training sessions designed to familiarize selected participants with essential concepts and capabilities of the two programs.
As a result of these training sessions, NRCan identified several potential use cases where Alteryx and Tableau could be leveraged to meet current needs and challenges.
